Squaddies Doggies is a home based salon offering 5* dog grooming services to Boroughbridge, Thirsk, Ripon and everywhere in between.

My aim here at Squaddies Doggies is to run a top quality low stress grooming salon.

 

I offer a consultation with customers to ensure that each one gets the service they require whilst ensuring the safety an wellbeing of the dog. I believe that the grooming process should be as calming and enjoyable as possible for the dog as it is an experience they will have to go through their entire life.

 

I have worked in the dog grooming profession since I was 18 years old when my own mum became a dog groomer. She runs a successful salon back in Scotland and I helped out as often as I could. When I moved to Reading I gained an apprenticeship with a very successful salon. This is where I really developed a love for dog grooming and gained a lot of training and experience.

 

Even now, I like to keep up to date in my field, attending regular training events and seminars on dog grooming and canine behavior.

 

I am passionate about dogs, owning a Toy Poodle named Loulou and a Lhasa Apso named Stella who are picured at either side.
